On September 3rd 2009, in Belgrade, 6 anarchists are arrested, accused for the symbolic action of solidarity to the -then prisoner- Th. Iliopoulos. The serbian state, which is in a process of total privatization and faces dynamic workers’ mobilizations, calms down the foreign investors and terrifies the upcoming movement by  sending them on trial on February 17th 2010, for “International Terrorism”!

More than 100 persons demonstrated in Belgrade on Monday 4th of January in solidarity to the 6 anarchosyndicalist prisoners. The 6 are charged for the attack at the greek embassy with molotof  cocktails, as an action of solidarity to, at that time, prisoner Th. Iliopoulos. The demonstration started from the ministry of justice and ended at the prisons, where slogans of support were shouted.

Συνέντευξη από Μαδρίτη με ένα μέλος της ομοσπονδίας αναρχικών Σλοβενίας

Την Κυριακή, 23 του Νοέμβρη με συντρόφους του Metal Union και του Union for Various Services της CNT-Μαδρίτης πήραμε συνέντευξη από ένα μέλος της ομοσπονδίας αναρχικών Σλοβενίας ((FAO)Federacija za Anarhistično Organiziranje ). Περιμέναμε με ανυπομονησία αυτή τη συνέντευξη, αφού ο σύντροφος της FAO διατηρεί τακτικές επαφές με τα μέλη της Σέρβικης (ASI) Anarho-sindikalistička Inicijativa .

– Ποια είναι η σχέση σας με την ASI; Είστε σε επαφή;

Είμαι μέλος της ομοσπονδίας αναρχικών Σλοβενίας ( «Ομοσπονδία για την Αναρχική Οργάνωση»). Εδώ και οκτώ χρόνια διατηρούμε στενή σχέση με τους συντρόφους άναρχο-συνδικαλιστές της ASI και έχουμε εργαστεί από κοινού σε δραστηριότητες όταν αυτό, ήταν εφικτό.

Είμαστε σήμερα σε επαφή με ορισμένα μέλη της ASI, αλλά η επικοινωνία είναι δύσκολη, δεδομένου ότι τα άτομα αυτά παρακολουθούνται στενά από το σερβικό κράτος. Ωστόσο, ούτε εμείς ούτε τα μέλη της ASI έχουμε άμεση επαφή με τους φυλακισμένους.

– Ποια είναι η κατάσταση τώρα με τους συντρόφους; Είστε αισιόδοξος;

Αντίθετα, είμαι πολύ απαισιόδοξος. Όπως μπορείτε να φανταστείτε, η κατάσταση είναι πολύ απογοητευτική για όλους, ιδίως λόγω του γεγονότος ότι το Σέρβικο Κράτος είναι αποφασισμένο να τελειώνει με την ASI. Προφανώς εκμεταλλεύονται την κατάσταση όσο μπορούν. Στην πραγματικότητα, σε όλη αυτή τη χρονική περίοδο της σύλληψης παρατεινόταν η κράτηση υπό το πρόσχημα των νέων ενστάσεων.

– Ποιες οι κατηγορίες;

Κατηγορούνται για διεθνή τρομοκρατία. Αυτή τη στιγμή οι έρευνες έχουν τελειώσει, η υπόθεση θεωρείτε κλειστή και θα πάει για δίκη. Αν θεωρηθούν ένοχοι, οι ποινές αναμένονται μεταξύ τριών έως δεκαπέντε χρόνων και έχοντας υπόψη μας ότι όλο αυτό γίνετε, χωρίς να υπάρχει καμία νομική απόδειξη στα χέρια του εισαγγελέα και με τους συντρόφους να έχουν αρνηθεί τις κατηγορίες εξ’ αρχής.

Πρέπει να καταστεί σαφές ότι για το Σέρβικο κράτος είναι κάτι το συνηθισμένο να χρησιμοποιεί τέτοιου είδους μεθόδους για την ποινικοποίηση των ομάδων αντισυστηματος, προκειμένου να εμποδιστεί η δραστηριότητα τους, να ασκηθεί πίεση στα μέλη των ομάδων και μετέπειτα να τους απελευθερώνει χωρίς καμία κατηγορία. Αλλά αυτή η περίπτωση προφανώς είναι διαφορετική.

– Ποια είναι η κοινωνικό-πολιτική κατάσταση στη Σερβία;

Η κοινωνική κατάσταση είναι πραγματικά γαμημενη. Φυσικά, η Σερβία βρίσκεται στην τρέχουσα κρίση, αλλά η επιδείνωση της οφείλεται στο ότι το Σέρβικο κράτος βρίσκεται στο μεταβατικό στάδιο μεταξύ του λεγόμενου σοσιαλισμού και του αχαλίνωτου καπιταλισμού. Με ποσοστό ανεργίας να είναι υψηλότερο του 20% και όσοι έχουν δουλειά μόλις που τα βγάζουν πέρα. Το 60% των μισθών είναι κάτω του μέσου όρου (περίπου 350 ευρώ / μήνα) και αυτό χωρίς να υπολογίζουμε αυτούς που πληρώνονται τον ελάχιστο μισθό (150 ευρώ / μήνα ).

Επιπλέον, η κατάσταση στα δημόσια ιδρύματα είναι πολύ χαοτική. Υπάρχουν διάφορα κέντρα εξουσίας και όλων των ειδών μαφίας. Η διαφθορά βρίσκεται στο επίκαιρο της ημέρας .

Όπως και στην Ισπανία, τα πολιτικά κόμματα είναι πανομοιότυπα όταν πρόκειται για οικονομικές προτάσεις. Περιττό να πούμε, παρά το θεσμικό χάος, η κατασταλτική μηχανή λειτουργεί τέλεια.

– Ποια η επιρροή που έχει η ASI στη Σερβία;

Όπως όλοι γνωρίζουμε, πρόκειται για μια μικρή οργάνωση, πάραυτα με μεγάλη επιρροή στην κοινωνία.

Έχουν αποκτήσει επιρροή στην κοινή γνώμη, μεταξύ των εργαζομένων και έχει αποδειχθεί ως, η μόνη εναλλακτική λύση έναντι των άλλων συνδικάτων.

Ήταν πολύ αποτελεσματική και επίμονη όσο αφορά την αναρχική προπαγάνδα , με τις αρχές, τις τακτικές και τους στόχους της, που δεν είναι μόνο η εργατική τάξη αλλά και μεταξύ φοιτητών, καθηγητών, κλπ.. Πιστεύουμε ακράδαντα ότι αυτός είναι ο κύριος λόγος για τη σύλληψη και υποθέτουμε ότι η σερβική υπηρεσία πληροφοριών είναι πίσω από την όλη διαδικασία.

Επιπλέον θα ήθελα να προσθέσω ότι η επιρροή της ASI δεν περιορίζεται μόνο στη Σερβία, αλλά και σε πολλές χώρες των Βαλκανίων. *Δεδομένου ότι αυτές οι χώρες δεν έχουν άναρχο-συνδικαλιστικές οργανώσεις. *(Με εξαίρεση την Κροατία, αυτή είναι η αναφορά για την ώρα.)

Η ASI έχει προσπαθήσει πολύ τα τελευταία χρόνια για την αναγκαιότητα αναρχοσυνδικαλίστικης οργάνωσης στην Σερβία και στα Βαλκάνια.

– Ποια ήταν η αντίδραση του σερβικού λαού;

Πολλοί συγγενείς, οργανώσεις έχουν εκφράσει την αλληλεγγύη με τους συντρόφους, αλλά και δημόσια πρόσωπα (σκηνοθέτες, δημοσιογράφοι, συγγραφείς, κ.λπ.).. Επίσης, καθηγητές πανεπιστημίου και κάποιες αριστερές ομάδες.

Όπως έχουμε πει, η ASI έχει πολύ μεγαλύτερη επιρροή σε σχέση με το τι πιστεύουν στην υπόλοιπη Ευρώπη.

– Ποια είναι η τρέχουσα κατάσταση των άλλων ομάδων αντί-συστήματος στη Σερβία;

Όπως είπα και πριν, το σερβικό κράτος, είναι κράτος κατασταλτικής πολιτικής . Ένας απ τους πιο δραστήριους αγώνες σήμερα είναι ο αντί-φασισμός μια από τις μόνες δράσεις όπου συμμετέχουν διάφορές οργανώσεις σε κοινό αγώνα. Αυτό συμβαίνει επειδή ο φασισμός είναι πολύ ισχυρός στη Σερβία, περιλαμβανομένου και του κοινοβουλίου.

Συγκεκριμένα, το φασιστικό κίνημα τείνει να επικεντρώσει την εκστρατεία του εναντίον του αναρχοσυνδικαλισμου. Για παράδειγμα, πριν κάτι εβδομάδες, όταν προέβησαν σε μια έντονη εκστρατεία κατά της ASI. Θα τολμούσα να πω ότι ο φασισμός των Σέρβων δεν εστιάζεται κατά του αγώνα του φιλελεύθερου αντιφασισμου. Ο πραγματικός εχθρός τους είναι ο αναρχοσυνδικαλισμός, αποδεικνύοντας, και χωρίς να κουράζομαι να το επαναλαμβάνω αυτό, το μεγάλο έργο που έχει γίνει από την ASI.

Στην πραγματικότητα, η ASI ήταν ο καταλύτης της ΜΠΑΦΙ (Αντιφασιστική Πρωτοβουλία Βελιγραδίου).

– Τέλος, έχετε καμία πρόταση για το πώς μπορούμε να βοηθήσουμε τους φυλακισμένους συντρόφους;

Πιστεύουμε ότι είναι πολύ σημαντικό να στηριχτεί η εκστρατεία αυτή, διότι μπορεί να αποτελέσει προηγούμενο στην καταστολή του αναρχικού κινήματος στα Βαλκάνια. Πρέπει να συνεχίσουμε αδιάκοπα την εκστρατεία αλληλεγγύης, την ενημέρωση των πολιτών για να αυξηθεί η πίεση.

Πρέπει να δοθεί στήριξη σε ό, τι χρειάζονται. Αυτή τη στιγμή ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα προβλήματα είναι η έλλειψη κεφαλαίου για την κάλυψη των νομικών εξόδων, πιθανές κυρώσεις, πρόστιμα, κοκ.

Θα πρέπει να δοθεί η σοβαρότητα του θέματος και πιστεύω ότι πρέπει να αρχίσουμε να ψάχνουμε νέους τρόπους αλληλεγγύης. Θέλουμε να τονίσουμε ότι θα πρέπει χρησιμοποιηθούν μέθοδοι που δεν βλάπτουν ή αυξάνουν τις κατηγορίες. Τονίζουμε ότι οι σύντροφοι θα δικαστούν με την κατηγορία της διεθνούς τρομοκρατίας.

Στους 6 του Βελιγραδίου προσάπτεται η κατηγορία της διεθνούς τρομοκρατίας

Η IWA/AIT και Σέρβοι σύντροφοι ενημέρωσαν ότι τελικά προσάπτεται η κατηγορία της διεθνούς τρομοκρατίας στους Σέρβους αναρχοσυνδικαλιστές. Είναι το άσχημο σενάριο και βρίσκονται αντιμέτωποι με 15 χρόνια φυλάκιση, η προφυλάκισή τους θα διαρκέσει αρκετούς μήνες τουλάχιστον, οπότε και ο αγώνας θα είναι μακρύς. Γίνεται προσπάθεια να δουν αν γίνεται να εφεσιβάλουν την απόφαση. Τα έξοδα θα εκτοξευστούν και υπάρχει νέα έκκληση για οικονομική βοήθεια.

Δράση αλληλεγγύης στη Σλοβακία και παρενόχληση από την αστυνομία

Παρενόχληση από την αστυνομία κατά τη διάρκεια δράσης αλληλεγγύης από την Priama akcia-Bratislava (IWA/AIT Slovakia) προς υποστήριξη των συλληφθέντων Σέρβων αναρχοσυνδικαλιστών.

Τη Δευτέρα στις 7 Σεπτέμβρη 2009, η Priama akcia-Bratislava (IWA-AIT) οργάνωσε μια δράση αλληλεγγύης έξω από τη Σερβική πρεσβεία στη Bratislava.

Περίπου 10 άτομα μαζεύτηκαν για να συναντηθούν με τον πρέσβη και να εκφράσουν τη δυσαρέσκειά τους με τις πράξεις των Σερβικών αρχών. Ο πρέσβης όμως δεν ήταν στη πρεσβεία. Είπαμε σε ένα υπάλληλο της πρεσβείας οτι θέλουμε να γίνει επίσημη καταγραφή της διαμαρτυρίας μας και να ενημερωθεί το Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών στο Βελιγράδι. Μας είπανε να βάλουμε τα γράμματα διαμαρτυρίας μας στο γραμματοκιβώτιο και οτι θα τα κοίταγαν αργότερα. Όλη η συζήτηση έγινε με intercom στην είσοδο της πρεσβείας…

Μετά τη συζήτηση με τη φωνή μέσα από τη πρεσβεία, ένας από τους δυο-τέσσερις «μυστικούς» μπάτσους που ήταν κοντά στους παρευρισκόμενους όλη την ώρα (με την ευκαιρία, ένας μπάτσος ή υπάλληλος της πρεσβείας τράβαγε βίντεο ή έπερνε φωτό των συντρόφων με το κινητό του:)) μας έδειξε την «διπλωματική» του αστυνομική ταυτότητα και μας ζήτησε να πούμε τα ονόματά μας. Εμείς αρνηθήκαμε και μετά από μια σύντομη ανταλλαγή λέξεων σχετικά τις δεξιώτητες της αστυνομίας φύγαμε χωρίς να έχει γίνει η ταυτοποίηση. Ο μπάτσος είπε, μετά, οτι σε αυτή τη περίπτωση θα καλούσε την αστυνομία.

Παρενόχληση από την αστυνομία

Κατεβήκαμε το δρόμο και μετά από 150 μέτρα είδαμε ένα αυτοκίνητο της αστυνομίας να έρχεται προς εμάς. Δεν θέλαμε να μας ξαναενοχλήσουν, κι έτσι πήγαμε προς το πάρκο της πόλης (που είναι δάσος) και χωριστήκαμε σε δυο ομάδες. Μέσα σε δευτερόλεπτα μια από τις ομάδες τεσσάρων ατόμων συναντήθηκε με 5-7 μπάτσους που ήρθαν προς το μέρος τους, και οι οποίοι ήθελαν να δούνε τις ταυτότητές μας. Στο δάσος. Ο έλεγχος των ταυτοτήτων κράτησε κάπου 10-15 λεπτά και βέβαια είμασταν στοχοποιημένοι γιατί οι μπάτσοι δεν έκαναν έλεγχο τους περαστικούς. Η αστυνομία σκαρφίστικε τη δικαιολογία οτι «έψαχναν για ένα καταζητούμενο ή χαμένο πρόσωπο», Στο τέλος ο αστυνομικός είπε οτι τα στοιχεία των ταυτοτήτων θα καταγράφονταν σε κάποιο σύστημα της αστυνομίας, έτσι ώστε άμα κάτι συμβεί στη περιοχή να τους καλέσουν σαν μάρτυρες. Ούτε μιλιά για το «καταζητούμενο ή χαμένο πρόσωπο»… Ας ελπίσουμε μόνο να μη γίνει κάτι στο δάσος σήμερα.

Η αλληλεγγύη ξεκινά τώρα.

Παρόλη τη τρελή παρενόχληση της αστυνομίας, δώσαμε τα γράμματα διαμαρτυρίας στη πρεσβεία. Η καμπάνια αλληλεγγύης είναι στην αρχή της και δεν θα σταματήσει μέχρι να απελευθερωθούν οι φυλακισμένοι στη Σερβία και να παρθούν πίσω οι κατηγορίες.

Μια επίθεση σε αναρχοσυνδικαλιστές είναι μια επίθεση σε κάθε αγωνιζόμενο εργάτη.

Παρακολούθηση των συντρόφων της ASI και νέα για τους συλληφθέντες από Σερβία

Γνωρίζουμε πως στις 28 με 29 του Σεπτέμβρη θα γίνει αναπαράσταση των γεγονότων και καταθέσεις των μαρτύρων. Μετά, θα έχουν απομείνει 7 μέρες για να τελειώσει η 30ήμερη κράτηση. Οι κατηγορίες που θα αποφασίσουν να τους φορτώσουν θα πρέπει να γίνουν μέσα σε αυτή τη τελευταία βδομάδα. Αυτό, ή θα πρέπει οι σύντροφοι να αφεθούν ελεύθεροι.

Για αυτό το θέμα, υπάρχουν κάποιες φήμες ή υποθέσεις σχετικες με την υπόθεση, αλλά θέλουμε μόνο να δημοσιεύβουμε σίγουρες πληροφορίες, οπότε θα πρέπει να περιμένουνμε μια βδομάδα μέχρι να ξέρουμε ακριβώς τί θα γίνει.

Μια άλλη πληροφορία σχετική με την υπόθεση είναι πως ηπήρξε μια διαταγή δικαστηρίου για παρακολούθηση των συντρόφων από την ASI. Έτσι, όλες οι τηλεφωνικές κλήσεις και άλλες επικοινωνίες που κατέγραψε το κράτος μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν ως στοιχεία για την υπόθεση.

Κι αυτό δείχνει το τρόπο με τον οποίο αυτή η ομάδα στοχοποιείται από τις αρχές.

before the news of the 6th arrest and that’s why it mentions only 5). The

STATE TERRORISM HAS NO BORDERS.

NEITHER DOES SOLIDARITY !

On September 4, in Belgrade, anarchosyndicalists Tadej Kurep, Ivan Vulovic,
Sanja Dojkic, Ratibor Trivunac and Nikola Mitrovic, activists of ASI, were
arrested, accused of the attack with molotovs against the greek embassy on
August 25. The Serbian police is after one more comrade who is also accused
of participating in the same action. The comrades were “kidnapped” by the
cops from their houses, interrogated and detained since the prosecutor
decided that they will remain in custody for at least 30 days. He also
demanded that they are charged with “international terrorism”, an accusation
which means that if convicted they will be facing many years in prison .

Their arrest and custody is completely arbitrary since there is no evident
linking them to the specific action and all five of them deny the charges.

The attack against the greek embassy in Belgrade was one of the numerous
actions of solidarity that took place during the hunger strike of Thodoris
Iliopoulos, the last prisoner from the December revolt in Greece; actions
that were the continuation of all those last winter’s mobilizations and
direct actions of counter-information and solidarity around the world which
had been triggered by the insurrectionary events of December.

The persecution of the five anarchosyndicalists who are well-known to the
authorities for their ideas and their social anarchist activity, is an
attempt by the Serbian state to intimidate those who struggle for social
liberation. After all, it is a common method of the repressive mechanisms to
target activists and frame them up with false accusations in order to
achieve exhaustive prison sentences.

We stand in solidarity with the five comrades in Serbia who are held
hostages by the state, and with all activists facing state violence. The
global struggle for social liberation will sweep away the states and the
bosses, their institutions and their repressive mechanisms.

ΓΕΡΜΑΝΙΑ: Διαμαρτυρία στο Βερολίνο έξω από τη πρεσβεία της Σερβίας

Παρασκευή 18 Σεπτέμβρη ακτιβιστές διαμαρτυρήθηκαν έξω από τη Σερβική πρεσβεία στο Βερολίνο (Γερμανία) απαιτώντας την απελευθέρωση των Σέρβων συνδικαλιστών. Η συγκέντρωση καλέστηκε από την Ελεύθερη Εργατική Ένωση FAU (Free Workers’ Union, FAU).

Ο λόγος που έγινε αυτή η συγκέντρωση ήταν η σύλληψη πέντε αναρχοσυνδικαλιστών (ΣτΜ έξι είναι τώρα) στο Βελιγράδι στις αρχές του Σεπτέμβρη. Οι περισσότεροι από αυτούς είναι μέλη της Αναρχοσυνδικαλιστικής Πρωτοβουλίας ASI (Anarchosyndicalist Initiative, ASI). Οι Σερβικές αρχές τώρα δε λένε τίποτε σχετικά με τους λόγους των συλλήψεων. Κατά πάσα πιθανότατα θα πάνε να τους συνδέσουν με την επίθεση στην Ελληνική Πρεσβεία στα τέλη του Αυγούστου και θα τρέξουν την υπόθεση ως υπόθεση τρομοκρατίας. Τα Σερβικά ΜΜΕ ξεκίνησαν προσπάθεια στοχοποίησης εναντίων της ASI σχεδόν αμέσως μετά την επίθεση κατά της Πρεσβείας (ΣτΜ έμφαση όχι στο πρωτότυπο). Η ASI έχει αποστασιωποιηθεί από την επίθεση, την ευθύνη της οποίας ανέλαβε μια ομάδα με το όνομα «Crni Ilija».

Η ASI, όπως και η Γερμανική αδελφική της οργάνωση FAU, παλεύει για μια αυτο-οργανωμένη, λαϊκή (grassroots) και μαχητική (militant) εργατική ένωση. Και η FAU και η ASI είναι μέλη της Διεθνούς Ένωσης Εργατών IWA (International Workers’ Association, IWA), της οποίας χρέη γραμματέα είχε αναλάβει η ASI.

Στη συγκέντρωση έγινε απαιτητή η άμεση απελευθέρωση των Σέρβων συνδικαλιστών και το τέλος της ποινικοποίησης των πολιτικών ακτιβιστών.

Why do they aim against ASI? – Γιατί στοχοποιούν την ASI;

(personal view:) The aiming against anarchosyndicalist initiative is related with the attitude and the critisism that ASI does. Therefore, and taking into consideration that ASI is not widely known (at least in Greece), a contribution to solidarity is the distribution of the opinions and the analyses of this organization, which is gaining support by workers, and that is why the Serbian regime judges it as dangerous. The effort for demoralization of ASI will not pass.

PROTEST: On 3/9 the Serbian police raided houses and arrested youths, members of the Anarchosyndicalist Initiative (ASI), charging them with throwing two molotov (petrol) bombs at the Greek embassy in Belgrade (on 25/8). The arrestees were abused and after the public prosecutor’s order they were detained for 30 days. They are about to appear in court with charges of ‘international terrorism’. This means that, if they are officially charged, they will have to face imprisonment of 3 to 15 years.

The arrestees deny any relation to the action. An unknown anarchist group (‘Black Sun’) sent an announcement on the internet taking responsibility for the action at the Greek embassy. They described it as an action in solidarity with Thodoris Iliopoulos, who at the time was a hunger striker in Korydalos prison. Our Association supports the arrested syndicalists. We demand that fabrications against them cease. We call all trade unions in Greece to publish protest announcements and take initiatives about this case. We call all fellow colleagues to take part in actions that are going to take place demanding the release of the Serb fighters. It is not an act of fraternity with the Serbian people to support the nationalist and warmongering cliques in Serbia. An act of fraternity is to support those who struggle against unemployment, poverty, enterprise closures, privatizations, the non-payment of thousands of workers in factories that are fell in disrepair, corruption. Interview of Thodoris Iliopoulos

Thodoris Iliopoulos gave a long interview to the web channel tvxs.gr (tv without borders), which you can find in greek here: http://www.tvxs.gr/v21143. Amongst many things that he said about his case, the life in the greek prisons, the hunger strike, the life after prison, the social struggles and the solidarity movement, he was asked about the 6 anarchosyndicalists that are persecuted for the solidarity action in Belgrade. This is a translation of this part of the interview:

journalist: These days there is happening a mobilization for 6 persons for a movement that took place for you, while there had been developed already a movement and it was in the last days of your hunger strike. An action took place in Belgrade at the Greek embassy there. These persons were finally arrested and they are accused with very heavy charges, international terrorism is the charge that was attributed to them and there is developed a movement of support of those that supported then you. What do you think about that and I’d like your opinion generally for this situation.

Th. Illiopoulos.: I am aware of this situation. They face now charges that have from 3 up to 15 years imprisonment, if I remember right. International terrorism for 2 broken glasses? for a graffity? terrorism… big conversation. In a few words, for me, this is not terrorism. Terrorism is what we face in our everyday routine. Wake up in the morning, go to a work, take the very few money, try to live with dignity. Manufactured needs. All these are terrorism. Now those that made an action of solidarity in support of me, are considered terrorists? I cannot understand this.

Αυτό είναι μια ανακοίνωση της ASI που έγινε στις 17 Σεπτεμβρίου 2009, μεταφρασμένη με απόδωση από τα αγγλικά.

Στις 4 Σεπτεμβρίου 2009 η απόφαση των δικαστηρίων του Βελιγραδίου ήταν η ομάδα των έξι αναρχικών που συνελλήφθησαν στις 3 Σεπτεμβρίου 2009 να παραμείνει υπό κράτηση για τριάντα ημέρες. Οι κατηγορίες είναι οτι στις 25 Αυγούστου στις 3 τα ξημερώματα έγραψαν γκράφιτι στο τοίχο και μετά «πέταξαν δυο μολότοφ” στο κτίριο της Ελληνικής πρεσβείας στην οδό Φρανκούσκα (Francuska) στη πρωτεύουσα της Σερβίας.

Θέλωντας με τη βία να σωπάσει τους πιο σκληρούς επικριτές του, το κράτος μέσα από τους μηχανισμούς καταστολής του λειτουργεί με τη πιο χυδαία λογική. Αυτοί που έχουν επισήμως κάνει γνωστά τα ελευθεριακά τους πιστεύω κατηγορούνται ως οι μόνοι ύποπτοι. Η υπόθεση τελειώνει με τη φυλάκισή τους και αυτό δίνει μια ψευδαίσθηση στους πολίτες οτι το «το κράτος δουλεύει».

Λόγω της ασυνήθιστης συμπεριφοράς της αστυνομίας και του κατηγορητηρίου σε αυτή τη περίπτωση, τους συλληφθέντες τους έκαναν να φαίνονται σαν ύποπτοι «διεθνούς τρομοκρατίας». Μια τέτοια κατηγορία, σύμφωνα με το Ποινικό Κώδικα της Δημοκρατίας της Σερβίας, είναι στην ίδια ομάδα εγκλημάτων με τη γενοκτονία, τα εγκλήματα κατά της ανθρωπότητας, τα εγκλήματα πολέμου εναντίων άοπλων πολιτών, και την διοργάνωση γενοκτονιών και εγκλημάτων πολέμου, ή την διεξαγωγή επιθετικού πολέμου, κλπ.

Λόγω του βαριού κατηγορητηρίου και της περίπλοκης νομικής κατάστασης, τα νομικά έξοδα για την υποστήριξη των συντρόφων έχουν ήδη ξεπεράσει τα δέκα χιλιάδες Ευρώ. (€ 10.000)

On 25th of August a group of 5 persons attacked with molotov cocktails against the Greek embassy in Belgrade, without causing significant damage. The responsibility was claimed by an organization with the name Black Sun, which, according to its statement, made this attack in solidarity with the hunger striker Th. Iliopoulos.

For this reason, the government of Serbia detained 5 anarchists and persecutes another one, accusing them for “international terrorism”. All are members of Anarchosyndicalist Initiative (ASI), an organization that is not related with such attacks, while the arrested also made clear that they have no relation with the attack.

For one more time, the basic characteristics of the security state, that is being built in every country, become visible: increased repression, attack at the parts of the society that resist (in the particular case at anarchosyndicalists) and imposition of the doctrine of order and security. The state tries with every mean to accentuate the repression against politically radical groups: it names a simple attack with minimal material damage as “international terrorism” and afterwards it persecutes anarchosyndicalists without any clues. Purpose? The demoralisation of every political criticism against the dominating mechanisms and the cracking down of the “internal enemy”. It is not important if this is named “anarchist”, “immigrant” or “koukouloforos” [trans: the Greek state names like this the rioters that hide their face, it means hood-wearer]. The important purpose is the creation of an enemy, the creation of a (marginalized) social group that will lead the rest of the society to the conservativisation and loyalty. In the particular case the state mechanisms acted as they are used to act: two molotov cocktails and an alfadi [trans: alpha in a circle, Ⓐ] are enough to persecute 6 irrelevant with the attack individuals, that are facing imprisonment of decades.The fact that they are in an anarchosyndicalist union is enough in order for them to form the role of the “internal enemy”. An “internal enemy” that the state structures will try in any way to not let it from moving aggressively towards the power. In front of the repressive mechanisms of the state, we shall not stand back, but we keep walking with solidarity as our weapon.

At the Greek embassy in Belgrade takes place a symbolic attack with molotof and spray on the walls, by an unknown group.

The unknown organization “Black Sun” claims responsibility for the attack in solidarity with the prisoner hunger striker Thodoris Iliopoylos that was detained for the situation of December in the Greek prisons for a time of almost 9 months.

On 4th of September there are arrested five members of the organization “Serbian Anarchosyndicalist Initiative” (ASI) and one more is wanted with only clue their attendance in a peaceful protest outside the Greek embassy on 25 August.

The arrested, all with age under 30 years old, are imprisoned from then with the purpose for the Serbian “justice” to accuse them with the charge of “international terrorism”, accusation which attracts sentence of imprisonment from 3 to 15 years according to the Serbian laws.

Even according to the Serbian juridical reality the charges do not stand, as in another attack at the embassy of USA in the recent past the charge that was attributed was much milder.

According to common sense, even for those that consider the state monopoly for violence as sacred, there cannot be attributed the charge of terrorism for a slightly damaged glass, a trace of fire in the facade of the embassy and the writing of a symbol (alpha in circle), provided that there was not threatened nor is threatened the life and the body integrity of no one.

Compared to the terrorism of the states that abduct, torture, keep in hostage and condemn with fabricated clues persons or to the terrorism of the bosses that blackmail, destroy and murder workers, the attack at the embassy seems like a drop in the ocean. A drop, however, that contains an obvious message.

The defendants, via a statement of their organization, deny the charges declaring that they select other ways of action as the organizing of workers in libertarian [anarchosyndicalist] associations, the condemn via representations of protest and the sending of contra-information e-mails.

These belief-associated prosecutions remind us something. The prosecutions of anarchist comrades and social fighters, the prosecutions for revenge after the December that we lived here.

But there is something more. The internationalisation of solidarity, the break of the borders through the social struggles, the call for international unity of the oppressed accentuate the insecurity of each government clique in Greece, in Serbia, in the Balkans, everywhere. As we know, when a similar attack had happened at the Greek embassy few years ago for an athletic conflict, no one cared…

The people in solidarity with the Serbs that are persecuted denounce the misery of the Serbian state that – as and Greek one too- tries hard to offer space for its nationalists, to feed with even more blood and repression the famous “Greek-Serbian Friendship”.

We, on our view, are indeferent for the wolf-frienships [means in greek the fake friendship that is based on common profit] of the states. But we stand for the need of internationalist solidarity between the victims of these states. We denounce the effort of every state to eliminate the voices and actions of resistance, in their interior but also in the level of international solidarity.

We stand with the Serb comrades
and ask for their, immediate and without terms, release

Arrests of fighters in Serbia

On 25th of August, 2 molotov cocktails were thrown at the Greek embassy of Belgrade and a graffiti slogan was written with a spray, denouncing the detention of Thodoris Iliopoulos that in those days was on hunger strike in the prisons of Korydallos. An unknown anarchist group with the name “Black Sun” claimed responsibility for this action, with a statement that circulated on the internet.

On 3rd of September, six members of the Syndicalist Union “Anarchosyndicalist Initiative” (ASI) were arrested as responsible for this action. The arrested, 5 men (all under the age of 30) and a 19-year-old girl were led to police departments and were abused. The security forces of the regime performed illegal searches in houses and intimidated the families of the arrested.

On 4th of September, the public prosecutor ordered their detention, for 30 days, and charged them with actions of  “international terrorism” that are punished with imprisonment of 3 to 15 years.

The Anarchosyndicalist Initiative with a statement clarified that, “these methods of individual political fight are not the methods of anarchosyndicalism, they are exactly the opposite. We declare our political points in public and through our action we try to bring the masses in the syndicalist movement and the libertarian and progressive organizations”. The arrested made clear that they have no relation with a such action.

The workers of Serbia experience a miserable reality. This reality is characterized by unemployment, poverty, closure of enterprises, privatizations, thousands workers unpaid in factories that rhyme, corruptness… The serbian capital increases its wealth and is prepared to drive the country into the European Union. Who knows, perhaps tomorrow Serbia will ask to become a NATO member as well (which a few years ago was bombing them).

We are with the Serb fighters that are persecuted for their struggle. The associations and the collectives of the social movement in Greece should undertake actions, demanding their release and the stoppage of any prosecution against them.

On Saturday, 4th September, five Serbian anarchists, members of the Anarcho-syndicalist Initiative, were arrested and accused for the solidarity attack against the Greek embassy in Belgrade, which took place in support with Thodoris Iliopoulos, a hunger striker at the time.

Their arrests were essentially announced in advance, when the Serbian president Boris Tadic apologized to the Greek ambassador (Greece comprises the key investor of Serbian economy, with 2,5 billion Euro per year) and assured him “the serbian state would do everything in its capacity to identify and punish those responsible for the attack accordingly”.

The Serbian state (and the socialist coalition government) in complete harmonisation with the international climate of repression against the social movements chose to charge the five comrades with participation in an action of international terrorism.

The barbarity of modern bourgois democracy is the same everywhere…

For us it is insignificant whether they are “guilty” or “innocent”.

We ought to respond not only to the arrest of our comrades but also to the charge of international terrorism that aims directly against the international resistance movement.

We stand in solidarity with the five Serbian comrades, we stand in solidarity to each person that revolts and resists state power and global capital, the only true terrorists.

Solidarity to the arrested in Serbia

On 3rd of September 5 persons from the Anarchosyndicalistic Initiative were arrested with the outrageous charge of “international terrorism” for damage that happened at the Greek Embassy in Belgrade the night of 25th August, after an action of internationalist solidarity to Thodoris Iliopoulos. Despite the insignificant damage that happened to the building (a broken glass and a slogan with a sprey on the wall), the state’s mechanism started a witch hunting, arresting known anarchist with public action.
The conditions of their arrest are also indescribable, substantially they abducted them from their houses for interrogation, without warrant! The sentence that will be imposed to them if they are found guilty is from 3 to 15 years, unthinkable if it is compared with the inconsequential sentence of some partisans that burned the Greek embassy in Belgrade before some years after basketball match between the two countries.
The case acquires larger interest for our country, after publications of the press in which it is reported by police sources that the attack had been organized from July when Greek anarchists had visited Belgrade for the meeting for the Balkan Anarchist Book Festival that will take place next year in Belgrade. It directly aims this institution that goes on the last 5 years in the Balkans, with the last organization in Thessalonica last May.
The delirium of the former director of  Inteligence Service Bozidar Spazic exceeds every limit when he says that we should not underestimate Greek anarchists because they have relations with organizations as ETA or the IRA and abduct shipowners (!!!). In the same publication, Darko Trifunovic, professor in the Faculty of Security, says that he does not exclude the possibility of Greeks helping in the attack. Also, that anarchism in Greece is connected with the social situation, consequently the ideas and the actions of Greek anarchists would find fertile ground in the Balkans.
It becomes clear with these statements that the serbian state attempts to shield itself against the social explosion that undergoes in Serbia too, with the enormous rates of unemployment, the selling out of public enterprises and the corruption that involves in the entire public sector. No matter how many extensions of logic that it does, however, and no matter how much it wishes to show good conduct to the European Union with prosecutions of supposed terrorists, no mind can think the penalization of social struggles. By the absurd sentences that are proposed for the arrested, it becomes more obvious the intention of the state to use a insignificant case as excuse for application of new repressive laws with direct aiming at the resisting parts of the society.
The social struggles cannot be penalized, cannot be repressed, cannot be imprisoned.

Ομιλία της Αναρχοσυνδικαλιστικής Πρωτοβουλίας ASI κατά τη διάρκεια διαμαρτυρίας στη Σερβία

Στις 4 Σεπτεμβρίου 2009 ο δικαστής του δικαστηρίου District Court στο Βελιγράδι διέταξε τριάντα ημέρες κράτηση για μια ομάδα έξι νέων παιδιών που συνελήφθησαν τη 3η Σεπτεμβρίου. Κατηγορούνται ότι έγραψαν graffiti σε ένα τοίχο και ότι μετά πέταξαν δυο κοκτέιλ Μολότοφ εναντίων της Ελληνικής πρεσβείας στο Βελιγράδι στις 25 Αυγούστου γύρω στις 3 π.μ. τα ξημερώματα.

Το ασυνήθιστο όσον αφορά τη συμπεριφορά της αστυνομίας και της δίωξης σε αυτή την υπόθεση είναι ότι οι συλληφθέντες κατηγορούνται με το ποινικό αδίκημα της διεθνούς τρομοκρατίας. Στο ποινικό νόμο της Δημοκρατίας της Σερβίας αυτό το αδίκημα είναι στην ίδια ομάδα με, π.χ., τη γενοκτονία, τα εγκλήματα κατά της ανθρωπότητας, τα εγκλήματα πολέμου εναντίων πολιτών, την οργάνωση και ενθάρρυνση γενοκτονίας και εγκλημάτων πολέμου, τη διεξαγωγή επιθετικού πολέμου, και παρόμοια.

Να θυμίσουμε πως το άτομο που καταδικάστηκε για συμμετοχή το τελευταίο έτος στον εμπρησμό της Αμερικανικής Πρεσβείας στο Βελιγράδι στις 21 Φεβρουαρίου κατηγορήθηκε μόνο με μια σοβαρή πράξη εναντίων της δημόσιας ασφάλειας, παρόλο που η πρεσβεία έπαθε μεγάλη ζημιά και ένα από τα άτομα που ήταν στην ομάδα των κατηγορουμένων σκοτώθηκε στη φωτιά.

Σε μια στιγμή που τα δικαιώματα και οι ελευθερίες στη Σερβία περιορίζονται σοβαρά από αλλαγές στο ποινικό δίκαιο και τη νομοθεσία ενημέρωσης του κοινού, μια απόφαση καταδίκης των έξι συλληφθέντων με διεθνή τρομοκρατία δείχνει τις προθέσεις κάποιων κρατικών δομών να αποθαρρύνουν κάθε πολιτική κριτική εναντίων των πράξεών τους αναβαθμίζοντας τη καταστολή και κάνοντας κατάχρηση και παρερμηνεία των δικών τους νόμων. Λόγω αυτού εκφράζουμε την αλληλεγγύη μας στους συλληφθέντες, απαιτώντας αυτή η γελοία κατηγορία να ανακληθεί και να απελευθερωθούν άμεσα.
